It’s my pleasure to welcome you to The London School of Economics and Political Science as we proudly host the CEMS Annual Events 2023 and Master’s in International Management Graduation Ceremony.
Over five days in December (Wednesday 6 – Sunday 10), we invite you to LSE’s campus – as well as some of London’s great social spaces – for the Global Alliance’s annual meetings. We hope you will build new relationships, reconnect with familiar faces and come together to celebrate the achievements of our 1,300 CEMS graduates.
This is LSE’s second time hosting the CEMS Annual Events in our 32-year partnership. With its unique formula combining academic theory, practice-orientated learning, global exposure and ethical citizenship, CEMS is an innovative body that we are proud to join in the education of responsible global leaders.
LSE strives to influence tomorrow by understanding today. We’re proud of our rich history of shaping the world through the social sciences and we count 18 Nobel Prize winners and 37 world leaders among our staff and former students. We very much look forward to opening the doors of our Department of Management to the CEMS community to foster new connections and new thinking. This year will be extra special as we mark 35 years of CEMS. It’s set to be a celebration of creative minds with pioneering ideas in a city that thrives on innovation and diversity.
I look forward to welcoming you to London and sharing our city with you.
With warm wishes,
Professor Eric Neumayer
Interim President and Vice Chancellor
